| | | | Dear Guest,
What's your word for 2024?
If you haven't tried using an aspirational word to guide you through the year, now might be the time to think about it. And if you are a fan of the 'word for the year' approach, have you got one in mind for the coming year?
This article in slowlivingldn.com provides a great overview of how your guiding word can help to unify your goals and hone your intentions.
To help you, we've put together a list of 'Word for the Year' options. You can also consider these as part of our 2024 Vision Board planning exercise during our final WNA event of the year - our national virtual networking session this Thursday (14 December). Don't forget to register! This session is your time to celebrate the wins of 2023 and get inspired for the year ahead!
The WNA team will take a break from Friday 15 December to refresh and prepare for 2024. A big thanks to Bec and Nicole their dedication and hard work, and to Claudia (and Ange) for being our off-site angels! Also thanks to our WNA Ambassadors for supporting the Network and WNA members. Have a safe and relaxing Christmas and we look forward to creating more connections in 2024!
I love using the break to catch up on reading and doing some writing too! One great source is our WNA Blog which includes hundreds of great articles including these latest reads - 'Preparing your business of unexpected risks', 'Mergers made easy: Virtual data rooms for business integration' and 'Curating a Captivating Portfolio: Top Strategies for Creative Photographers'. There's so much great content to explore - and don't forget that WNA Members can contribute to the blog. This is a great way to increase your profile and drive online traffic to your own website. It's a 'must do' for your 2024 business marketing plan!

This week we're doubling up with TWO movie offers for WNA Members.
With thanks to Transmission Films, ONE LIFE is an incredibly moving British drama from the producers of THE KING’S SPEECH and LION, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins and Helena Bonham Carter. Based on the true story of Sir Nicholas Winton, whose unsung endeavours on the eve of World War II saved more than 600 children from their doom at the hands of the Nazis. The film was inspired by the moving 1988 BBC “That’s Life” program that reunited Nicholas Winton, also known as the British Schindler, with some of the children he had saved over 50 years earlier. This is a story of dedication, humanity and survival, delivering the message that saving even one life is a victory. Releasing in cinemas On December 26.
In ONE TRUE LOVES, Emma and Jesse are living the perfect life together, until Jesse disappears in a tragic helicopter crash on their first wedding anniversary. Four years later, Emma finds happiness again as she's about to marry her best friend. However, when Jesse miraculously resurfaces, Emma soon finds herself torn between two great loves. Now showing at cinemas.
We have 10 double passes for each movie, available for financial members of WNA. To go into the draw, email our team and let us know which movie you'd like to see.
